Training ![]() Shannon Barnett Acting for Camera for Teens course overview | dates & costs | coach biography Shannon Barnett Shannon Barnett is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Over the past few years she has acted in many film and television projects including the feature film Cavedweller directed by Lisa Choledenko, Showtime film Uncommon Ground, ABC series Monk, CBC series 72 Hours, and many many television commercials. Recent theatre credits include playing the role of “Fantine” in Les Miserables at the Thousand Islands Playhouse, “Emily” in the world premier of Brock Simpson’s Lust Labour’s Lost and “Andrea” in the Noble Players debut production of In Between. In addition to her acting work, for the past 8 years Shannon has worked as an on-camera acting coach for teens at the National Screen Institute Movie Camp, Cabbagetown Arts Centre, Greenwood College, and at the Centre for the Arts where in addition to her class, she has been actively involved in other projects including Teen Film Camp and the Arts in Education Project.
