Centre for the Arts

The Centre held its second Actor's Fund of Canada Benefit night on May 23, 2006. The comedians volunteered their time and did a terrific job---the audience laughed all their day-to-day worries away. The long time work the Actor's Fund has been doing is important and the Centre acknowledges the inclusive nature of the assistance that the Fund gives. This is a fresh alternative to so many situations artists find themselves in such as getting a bank loan where they are not given basic credit just for being human. The Centre follows a similar outlook where we take everyone at face value and form our unity through working together. We praise the work of the Actor's Fund and wish it continued success.
