Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting a film to the Centre for the Arts' Independent Film Screenings. Below are some helpful tips on how to submit a film for consideration for one of our upcoming screenings.
1. E-mail the Centre for the Arts that you intend to submit a film. Include in that email: your name, title of your film, the running time and if you would like, a brief bio of yourself. Also include contact info that has the best ways to get in touch with you. We can be reached at info@centreforthearts.com
2. Have a DVD copy available. Mail it or drop it off to Centre for the Arts.
3. Once you drop off your film, a member of the programming team will contact you if your film has been chosen to be screened. Please keep in mind: Just by submitting your film does not guarantee that your film will be screened at the next event. We try to involve as many people as we can but there may be circumstances that prevent your film from being screened. The Centre for the Arts will only contact you if your film is chosen to be screened.
4. To assist the Independent Short Film Screening project at the Centre, filmmakers can make a $5.00 donation at the door.
5. If you would like your copy of your film returned to you, include a self-addressed and stamped envelope with your submission. Alternately, you can make arrangements with the Centre to pick-up your DVD. Please note the Centre will not keep films after they have been screened.
Being a not-for-profit organization, the Centre for the Arts relies on the help of volunteers. The Independent Short Film Screenings can always benefit from people assisting and if you would like to get involved please contact a member of the Programming Committee.
