The Young Company produced Matt Austin's original play "In Between" which had a very successful run from May 27 to June 14 of 2004. The play was directed by Matt Hillard-Forde, designed by Laird Macdonald, technical Zachary Cox, producer Kelsey Matheson, box office Jennifer Hannoush. "In Between" featured Caroline Lesley, Michael Facciolo, Andre Noble, Matt Austin, PJ Lazic, Lenny Panzer, Sam Gutstadt, and Shannon Barnett. Members of the Youth Association also assisted including Dave Sullivan and Steven Quammie. After the tragic death of Andre Noble this group formed “The Noble Players” as a company in honour of Andre.

"I feel very fortunate to have met John Boylan and studied at the Centre for the Arts. Without the Centre there would have been no Young Company. As a member of the Young Company I feel that it’s crucial for artists to create their own work and opportunities. Producing and acting in IN BETWEEN awarded me, personally, the experience of a lifetime. Until the production closed we were thrown every obstacle imaginable but as they say, ”The show must go on!” and on it went. Nothing stood in our way of achieving our goals…well, not for long anyway. You have to learn to adapt, but the knowledge gained is unattainable in any classroom or book. The Centre for the Arts is supporting this kind of work and it’s admirable and necessary. I feel honored to be a part of that."
