Due to the present climate with covid, the course will now be delivered over Zoom. We will work 3 hours per day broken up into two parts of an hour and a half each. We will take a one-hour break between sessions as concentration over Zoom is difficult.
The in-studio course was to be 5 hours of class time. We would have had a lunch break in the middle of half an hour. The original course fee was $495.
The fee for the Zoom class will be $300. including tax. The dates and days will remain the same. January 7 - 10, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Overview
This Advanced Intensive course is for actors who are auditioning and shooting regularly. I will be accepting applications including a photo and resume and choosing suitable actors for the course.
You will be notified by January 2 or sooner if you are accepted into the class.
We'll use a scene from a feature film as a device to let you do some deep work. In the TV and movie business, you don't get that opportunity very often.
The idea with the more complex scenes and characters is to strengthen your acting core so as to better withstand the whips and scorns that is to be an actor. And to help book more TV.
Last year, the actors liked how the rich practice gave them more confidence and started their year off in a beautiful way. As well, at the end of each of the four days, you'll do an audition. One take, no feedback. This proved to be a good audition warm-up for the coming year.
Classes are 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Eastern Time Zone, January 7th – 10th at the Tarragon Theatre (30 Bridgman Avenue).
Those of you whose work I know don’t need to submit a photo and resume, but otherwise please send them on so I can select suitable class participants.
$300 (tax included)
