Janine Pearson

Janine is one of my dearest and most valued colleagues and I’m grateful to be able to call her so. Our on-going discussion on The Work is never interrupted, but, rather, just paused. We pick up right where we left off. Having such an experienced master teacher as a friend and colleague gives much succour. She has been Head of Voice at the Stratford Festival for thirty-one years and taught at The National Theatre School of Canada before that. Janine graduated from the ADVS programme at the Central School of Speech and Drama (London, England), where she studied with master teachers David Carey, Meribeth Bunch-Dayme, Cicely Berry and Patsy Rodenburg. She has taught so many of our actors and their love and thanks to her is immense. In the world of acting Janine is a national treasure!
